WM T Van Nostrand's PB Ale Crystal Lake Pre-Pro Plated Tray SCARCE EARLY

Condition/Comments: This early tray is from Wm. T Van Nostrand, predecessor to A.G. Van Nostrand. Brass plated tray is etched/engraved with different surface textures and shapes to create its subtly detailed design. The brand crest of the PB within the shield is the focal point surrounded by the brewery location CRYSTAL LAKE. There is no reference to the BUNKER HILL BREWERIES often found on Van Nostrand advertising as this is an earlier design, from between 1871 and 1890, prior to the opening of a second location. Sharp condition, only minor wear. A couple of rim edge bends at 9- and 11-o-clock. 12-inch diameter. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
