Business Name: Duquesne Brewing Co. of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Manufacturer/Plant: Unknown
Date of manufacture: circa 1930s
Condition/Comments: Rare, the better of only a couple we have seen. This sign is rather ornate, packing a lot of detail into a single stamped sheet of metal. The frame has multiple levels of beveling with very nice corner detail, and the letters of the brand name are stamped to mimic carving or engraving, recessed below the surface of the blue background. The red-white-blue-black colors are a match made in heaven with silver metallic the ideal choice to set them off. The sign has its obvious share of weathering and age but must have been a sight to behold when it was new! Rare! 20 w x 14 h framed. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
