Condition/Comments: This paper label is an exact match for cone top 183-28, except for the wider white bands at top and bottom required to increase the label to the height of a flat top. Perhaps Schlitz was interested in taking the design to a flat top. The label has been applied to a later vintage can and had flat top lids applied, the bottom one being tin-free steel and having some dings. The can is about 1/2 a rim taller than normal. An interesting piece. Condition comments intended to point out defects not apparent in photos. Rely upon photos for primary assessment of condition.
