Rolling Rock Beer 1940s Mirrored Thermometer-Barometer Sign

Condition/Comments: Large mirror has inset thermometer and barometer, as well as a cardboard foil back panel that shows through a window in the silver to display the advertising. Shown is a 7-ounce IRTP Rolling Rock bottle. The foil lettering has a pinkish cast to it, implying it may have been more strongly colored at one time, either red or gold. The thermometer is vintage and is older than the sign, but not original to it. It advertises the Savings and Loan Association of Milwaukee. The barometer is original. There is moderate aging and clouding of the silver mirror though there are no cracks or chips and the imprint on the glass is first rate. Frame is original. 15 w x 23 h.
