Condition/Comments: An early label variation that dates to late 1935-early 1936 and is singular patent pending. While stating Display Empty on the lid, the can is filled with something solid, perhaps so it could be used as a paperweight. It is quite heavy. Condition is excellent, with some small scratches on the front and a bit of humidity on the back at the seam. Appears as though something may have been soldered to the seam at one point, as the surface of the seam is not uniform where the adhesion and subsequent removal occurred.
