Condition/Comments: A brighter and more varied palette is used on this sign than on most pieces of the period which generally favored brown or yellow. Illustrated with the horse-drawn 2-wheeled shay found on most of the brands advertising. Has a VERY light kink on the A of ALE and equally light impressions between the D and S of OLD SHAY. Otherwise, scratching and light oxidation are clearly shown as the more obvious blemishes. Displays very nicely with the gold appearing bright against the dark blue. 13-3/4 w x 6-3/4 h.
