Condition/Comments: Large format bottle is extremely ornate, with loads of detail and text adorning the label. The imprint is fired under the glaze and looks like new, having been protected from damage by the very durable glaze over it. Barley, hops, and cherubs run wild on the label, amid marketing phrases such as A VERITABLE LUXURY, THE FASHIONABLE BEVERAGE OF THE DAY, and REJUVENATING. Reverse is stamped with the makers mark PORT DUNDAS POTTERY CO. GLASGOW (Scotland). No blemishes to note, though there is an anomaly in the material on the left side that has turned green and did not take the glaze in the same manner as the rest of the piece.
