Condition/Comments: This New England factory scene lithograph is somewhat unique due to the overlay of the large script lettering and the use of sepia tone coloration. The combination of the bold advertising script and the incredibly detailed factory buildings provide a striking and fascinating image. It has all the classic elements of a factory scene including horse drawn wagons, train-cars with Narragansett Brewing panels, multiple brewery buildings, and American flags. Copyright date of 1898 is about actual date. It retains its original frame. The condition is very good with no tears or creases or irreversible image discoloration. There is staining caused by the original acidic wood backing. With a good professional cleaning, this piece would be outstanding and even more valuable. Scarce, only about 6 or so of these around to the best of our knowledge. About 40 x 29" inches, including frame 46" x 35". All items are original unless otherwise noted.
