Old Beer Cans & Breweriana for Sale • Archives for Research • Free Appraisals
Reference: USBC 215-2Brewery: Cooper Brewing Co., Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaManufacturer/Plant: CrownDate of manufacture: circa 1940sCanning Code: n/a Contents/Type: 32 ozCondition/Comments: Very rare variation from Crown (most example are Continental) lists contents and IRTP to the left of the seam where the Cap-Sealed strip would normally appear on a Continental can. This is an indoor can that shows a heavy amount of wear but remains smooth and colorful, though the original hues have been compromised. There are a couple of dings on the top front that may not be evident in the photos. The vertical line around the can is a very uniform opener scratch, not part of the design. The bottom has been replaced and opener gear marks are visible at the rim. Spout and bottom have been repainted. Dave Lang notes are on the bottom. RARE! All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
