Condition/Comments: The very first Mule Head label with a gold metallic background, long opener, and pale blue trim. Dates to 1935 and is singular PATENT pending. Can shows evident aging but is strong overall and displays better under natural lighting. This example was not known or not considered in the count of known examples at the time USBCOI was published as it states both or the two known example were on grade.
