Condition/Comments: RARE R9 rated can. Can is beautiful and certainly a top example. It was a very short-run label variant that contains the line -No artificial gas- on the side panel. Dates to early 1936 and is patents pending. There are some very minor under-the-paint humidity pinpoint speckles throughout but these are only visible on close inspection and do not affect the wonderful original color or display. They are only visible when the can is held at certain angles and really are very minor. The can is air sealed with a display empty lid that has been cleaned. Only a handful of these known on grade!
