Old Beer Cans & Breweriana for Sale • Archives for Research • Free Appraisals
Business Name: Hull Brewing Co., New Haven, ConnecticutManufacturer/Plant: UnknownDate of manufacture: circa 1940sCondition/Comments: Very well-preserved piece with a large bright colorful, and nicely detailed calendar pad. The backing exhibits toning but is as clean as the pad with no notable stains, tears, or holes. It is interesting to see what historical highlights were considered important enough to include on an August calendar page in 1941 versus today. Fulton's steamboat, Pres. Harding's death, women's right to vote, first trans-Atlantic cable message, and Panama Canal opening hardly compare to current observances such as National Mustard Day, National Fresh Breath Day, National Filet Mignon Day, and a host of others. About 9-3/4 w x 14-1/2. Framed size is 15 w x 19 h. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
