Condition/Comments: Scarce New York tip tray. This unusual embossed design is in wonderful condition. The classic overall red/gold/black color scheme is accented with just a bit of blue on the barrel in the center. Note the address and phone number on the rim, which help to date the piece. The embossing raises the border of the star a considerable amount above the surface of the tray, yet these raised areas have remained in strong condition through the years. The only marks of note are a few rim nicks and a few nicks on raised star. 4 inches. Provenance to the Zwick Collection. Guaranteed authentic, vintage antique. All original unless otherwise noted.
