Harvard Export Beer 1940s Composite Sign

Condition/Comments: Sign is a composite of several techniques: a lightly embossed plastic facade sits at the topmost layer, onto which the red and white of EXPORT BEER have been screen printed (on the outer surface) and the red border, white logo, and black portions have been printed on the inner surface. Behind it is a textured gold foil cardboard backing that has the dot pattern and the sculpted lettering that appears at the bottom. It is all contained within a metallic gold frame stat has retained loads of original color and brilliance. The plastic is lightly scratches but is not clouded and there are no significant signs of moisture. A great piece in excellent condition. 14-1/2 w x 11 h.
