Condition/Comments: This is one of the variants manufactured in England, with a lighter illustration of the Connoisseur, a narrower blue stripe on the rim and MADE IN ENGLAND at bottom front. Another English version features a darker image and a much wider rim stripe. U.S. versions from Baltimore Enamel & Novelty feature a blue Connoisseur and a makers mark on the reverse. Condition on this example is excellent and most notable in that there is only one notable chip to the enamel, visible at 7-o-clock. The imprint of the figure is detailed and shows little wear. Rare to find any version of this tray with so little rim edge chipping and this bright. 12-inch diameter. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
