Old Beer Cans & Breweriana for Sale • Archives for Research • Free Appraisals
Reference: USBC 195-15Brewery: James Hanley Co., Providence, Rhode IslandManufacturer/Plant: CrownDate of manufacture: circa 1940sCanning Code: n/a Contents/Type: 12 ozCondition/Comments: Tough variation that states EXTRA PALE rather than EXTRA DRY. About as clean as we have seen this can. This is the actual example pictured in the Class and USBC references. Has a few small imperfections, the most notable of which is the small ding on the face. It appears that the ding happened during production, since the indentation prevented ink from being applied in the recessed area, as opposed to the ding damaging/removing paint after the can was painted. All original and very high grade for the label. Correct tough bulldog crown on top too. For more info or questions regarding this lot contact Dan via email.
