Reference: n/aBrewery: James Hanley Company, Providence, Rhode IslandManufacturer/Plant: See comments/descriptionDate of manufacture: circa 1930sCanning Code: n/a Contents/Type: n/aCondition/Comments: This reverse-painted sign features the Connoisseur mascot Hanley used from before Prohibition until the equally popular Bulldog took over in the early 1940s. Even though there is some moisture spotting in the center, this piece is in excellent condition since the center litho portion of these signs is almost always faded. This example has fantastic color and there is no loss or lifting to the deep purple paint either. Original frame is also in fantastic condition with as bright a gold as we have seen on any similar piece. Sharp! Manufactured by Schaefer-Ross Co. 13 w x 17 h.
