Condition/Comments: Photo, likely dates to about 1880 given the attire and equipment visible here. The enterprise went by the name Henry L. Wilhelm Brewery between 1865 and 1882, and by just South Side Brewery from 1890-1895. This could be from the latter period but the physical photo and contents look closer to the Civil War period than to the turn of the century. NOTE: The larger front photo is a modern inkjet enlargement, presented for its larger details and to protect the light-sensitive albumen original from degradation. The original smaller print is mounted and viewable on the reverse. Original has creasing on the lower right corner and a hole on the leftmost wagon. Original is 9-1/2 w x 7-1/2 h.
