Condition/Comments: Rare. Stunning and highly ambitious sign! Features a beautiful pinup model leaning against a die cut ships wheel cut from an expansive black background through which a metallic gold foil sunburst emerges. Some of the foil has separated from the backing, causing it to lose the radiating striations but the effect is still clear towards the center. At bottom left, in bright, bold embossed type, is the brand and the tag line above it SMOOTH SAILING, explaining the motif. Just beautiful and, except for the foil, very well preserved! 15-1/2 w x 23 h. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
