Condition/Comments: This sign features a beautiful blue eyed woman holding a glass of Fox Head. She is adorned in an elaborate hat and jewels. The hat must be central to the attraction of the sign as the hat maker received credit at the bottom: HAT BY MARY GOODFELLOW. The message of the sign is that Fox Head is consumed by the well-to-do segment of society, not just the common man. An inset features the Fox Head mascot Headley the Fox. Condition is excellent. The notable but minor imperfections include a light crease through the first E of BEER down to about the bottom of the right side of the hat, and some lifting/bubbling of the print layer of the sign along the lower right edge. There is some very light staining in places and a little edge and corner wear but nothing distracting. 14 inches wide x 19 tall. All original. Nice piece!
