Reference: USBC 64-25, USBCOI 279
Business Name: Fort Pitt Brewing Co., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Manufacturer/Plant: American Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1930s
Canning Code: n/a
Contents/Type: 12 oz
Condition/Comments: USBC 64-25 USBCOI 279. Scarce can, even off-grade, rating R7 in such condition in USBCOI. This example has been rolled and appears to have been formed from two partial sheets wrapped around another can. The sheets abut between the contents and the brand name, a seam that persists around the can. 3 nail holes on the OI panel and one on the seam have been filled. Other than the narrow but joint, there are few marks on the front and the display is very good. The reverse has more wear and marks but very little humidity. Can is the proper height. Dates to the late 1930s and is Others Pending. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
