Condition/Comments: USBC 62-37 OI 260. Note that this variation lacks quote marks around CANCO on the Keglined panel. This example exhibits some surface oxidation of the paint and some light under-the-paint humidity, mostly on the left side. The surface remains quite smooth in these areas, though the reflectiveness of the can is altered, resulting in a perceived color change depending on the angle to the light. The rest of the can has some of this to much lesser degree and also shows nicks, scratches, and a few tiny dings, though the surface is shinier and the color more consistent so the display is very good. This is an early label that dates to late 1935 and is PATENT Pending (difficult to see as it is partly obscured by the rim and aging). Has an R7 rarity rating on-grade.
