Business Name: Duquesne Brewing Co., Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaManufacturer/Plant: UnknownDate of manufacture: circa 1940sCondition/Comments: Rare trolley or subway sign is nicely illustrated with a pair of thirsty golfers and their loyal Scottie begging for a sip. Great gesture and movement through the image even though the figures are standing still. Illustrated by Rocco Petrocelli. Other than a vertical fold in the center, the blemishes are limited to some small holes above the U in DUQUESNE, and two pairs of tiny indents where it looks like the folded piece was sandwiched between heavy items with staples attached as the indents are staple-width apart. A similar row of single indent marks occurs across the top in the yellow. Desirable and rare piece! About 22-1/2 w x 11 h. 29-1/2 w x 18-1/4 h framed. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
