Condition/Comments: Lovely, highly-detailed label from this landmark Philadelphia brewer. The label shows its age both via its condition and its design, featuring beautiful engraving and a classic color scheme. The metallic gold trim is difficult to see due to the toning but this must have been one sharp-looking design when it was fresh! Applied to an E. L. Kerns (Trenton, NJ) embossed bottle, the firm who bottled for C. Schmidt. Bold embossing depicts the company logo of an elk head above the initials E L K.
