Condition/Comments: Rare variant with no box behind CHICAGO on front. This one rates R9 on grade and R8 off grade. The example we are offering has some obvious humidity and light oxidation but is evenly aged and evenly colored throughout. Displays well and all text is clearly legible. Dates to about 1940. Rims have been cleaned, otherwise original. Condition comments intended to shed light where defects may not be easily seen in photos.
