Condition/Comments: This is a very handsome tray, and somewhat unusual in that the complex is illustrated from ground level rather than from above which creates an imposing and impressive scene. The scrolled page edge on the right used to promote the new technology of the electric lighting on Beacon Light (the brewery chimney) is not only a neat graphic effect but a time capsule from an era when electric lights were a novelty and something to brag about. NOTE This tray is restored. The rim, the black roof(s), and much of the red have been re-pigmented, as well as several smaller details. The tray has been clear coated. Displays beautifully!
