Condition/Comments: Scarce version from Ruppert! This gem is the better of two from a recent find. It is in as-found condition and is thoroughly original. A very rare can since, even of the relatively few known, several have been rubbed out to reveal the New Yorker label that lies beneath. This example is also a paint-over of that label, which appears to be an Ale. While perhaps not as attractive as the renowned New Yorker labels, this Ruppert propeller is likely just as rare. For gamblers who may consider this as a rub-out candidate, note that there is oxidation in several areas that guarantee the label beneath will also contain at least those spots, if not more that are not visible through the thick enamel paint. There are no notable dings or creases and the shine still remains on the original factory finish. Air sealed. A great find. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
