Condition/Comments: Likely dates to pre-Prohibition. Very heavy, thick glass. Tight grain oak frame is original and is stamped at top and bottom Bass & Co. Ltd, though this is difficult to see in the photos. Banners and royal coat of arms at the top are applied over this stamp. Text at bottom left of glass reads PROPERTY OF BASS, RATCLIFF & GRETTON LTD. Lower right is the manufacturer, H. C. Hawkes Co. of Birmingham, England. Outstanding condition. Any marks visible on the glass are merely spots or dirt that can be easily removed.
