Business Name: Anheuser-Busch Brewing Assn., Lemp Brewing Co., St. Louis, MissouriManufacturer/Plant: UnknownDate of manufacture: Pre-ProhibitionCondition/Comments: Lot of three pre-Pro items contains two Anheuser-Busch items, a match safe and a bottle-shaped brass corkscrew. The Lemp item is the brass bullet-shaped corkscrew. The match safe has wear as shown plus some indenting that has pushed the embossed eagle emblems a bit into the casing. Opens and closes properly and measures 1-1/2 w x 2-7/8 h. Corkscrew features the A-B logo on a copper plate that acts as the label of the bottle. Top unscrews to allow the corkscrew to be pulled out and slid into the slot in the side, after which the top can be screwed on to stabilize the screw and provide leverage for the twisting required to operate it. Fully functional with wear and missing plating as shown. Lemp piece operates identically and exhibits similar wear. This one is marked on the base Williamson Co., Newark, NJ. Refer to the photos for additional design and condition details. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
