Condition/Comments: 1940s TOC has the look of a pre-Pro piece but is from the 1940s. Hugo Ernst was the Hotel and Restaurant Employees International Alliance president in 1945. The sign is numbered 126632, but whether that is the serial number of the sign or the membership number of the establishment is unknown to us. Overall in very good condition with some drips and discoloration (it was originally light cream or white). Tiny ding above the A of BAR does not show in the photos. A very handsome and highly detailed piece considering the period in which it was issued. 11 w x 6 h. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
