Reference: n/aBrewery: John Wieland Brewery. San Francisco, CaliforniaManufacturer/Plant: See comments/descriptionDate of manufacture: Pre-ProhibitionCanning Code: n/a Contents/Type: N/ACondition/Comments: Tremendous artwork featuring a large bock goat lapping beer from a goblet while standing on a wooden barrel from the John Wieland Brewery. Barrel is adorned with hop vines. A Redwood tree on the right and a large wooden mallet at left. up We can only speculate that the tower with American flag in the background is architecture from the Panama-Pacific World's Fair of 1915 or perhaps part of the brewery. Condition is good. There is loss mostly at the edges, a few tears at edges, soiling, wrinkles, spots and stains. Colors are very good and condition is best where it counts most. Lithography by Louis Roesch Litho Co, San Francisco, California. Litho is about 20 x 27 inches. All original. For more info or questions regarding this lot contact Dan via email.
