Reference: n/aBrewery: Weisbrod Hess Oriental Brewery. Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaManufacturer/Plant: See comments/descriptionDate of manufacture: Pre-ProhibitionCanning Code: n/a Contents/Type: N/ACondition/Comments: Incredible lithograph with extensive and interesting subject matter. Features of scene of an early boat called Oriental with people presumably from the Orient and from America. A man on the dock is fishing and shucking oysters while another man above him holds a rock or brick (perhaps to be violent or to kill an incoming fish?). Advertises the Rheingold Pale Lager and Shakespeare Dark Lager brands. Just a fabulous and early nautical scene dating to 1898. Condition is excellent. There is a tear that starts at right edge right of boat which runs diagonally up ending in the Oriental flag. The tear fluoresces a bit, we believe from an adhesive as there is no evidence of re-pigmentation. Otherwise appears to be all original and in excellent condition. About 25 x 33 inches.
