It depicts what we believe to be a U.S. Marine Corps officer in dress white uniform and sun helmet hoisting his bottle and tankard of Schlitz and toasting “Here’s health.” The self-framed sign is in excellent original condition. Perhaps the wear that is evident is more accurately described as ‘aging’ and ‘patina,’ since there is nothing present to distract the eye from the wonderful authenticity of this piece. The perfect match to our next lot.
