Condition/Comments: This can was unknown in any condition until late in 2021 when a non-collector walk-in brought it to a New England show where it was purchased for the Jules Kish Connecticut collection. This can is truly unique and exceptionally rare. As far as is known, it is the only flat top issued by Largay and was produced for export, as indicated by the withdrawn free statement on the front. Given the unique status of this can, imperfections are less of a factor, as there are no comparisons; it is the only one and is therefore the finest known. It has fade to the front, and some obvious aging and oxidation as photos show. The reverse is quite clean, with vivid color and a clean seam. The can is solid as a rock and is all original.
