Condition/Comments:  An exceptional example of this scarce West Coast can. The only notable blemish is a tiny mark beneath the letter “R” of the word “Beer.” The graphics and colors are outstanding and are a true reflection of the design sensibilities of the 1930s era. The name itself is surely a play on the notoriety of Roosevelt’s ‘New Deal’ programs enacted at the time. NOTE:  top lid is replaced.  This can was found as a drinking mug and a correct period lid was beautifully installed by the Master of can repair, Art Lacomb.
