Reference: n/aBrewery: Deer Park Brewing Co., Port Jervis, NYManufacturer/Plant: UnmarkedDate of manufacture: Pre-ProhibitionContents/Type: n/aCondition/Comments: 16-1/2”w x 13-1/2”h. This stock scene (numbered 7 from some tray maker catalog) depicts a Native American on horseback flanked by two riderless horses. The paint surface has dulled but all details are there and clearly evident. The patina has muted the palette but colors are not faded and the painterly work of the illustration can still be seen. It is nicely tied to the leaf pattern that decorates the rim of the tray. Aside from the paint quality, the tray exhibits few issues: a small nail hole at 12 o-clock, and a small buckled area on front of the rider are the largest issues of note. There are a few small scattered scratches. Rare tray.
