Condition/Comments: 16-1/2”w x 13-1/2”h. The elderly gentleman that adorns this tray is the same stock image used on a Providence Brewing Co. tray that is marked Kaufmann & Strauss, so this is likely a Kaufmann & Strauss product as well. Note the details that needed to be updated each time the image was used: Not only did the overall branding need to change on the face and rim, but the bottle detail, the title of the newspaper, and the brewing company ad on the back page all needed to change. The tray displays well but has some condition issues as illustrated. The surface of the face is heavily crazed and somewhat faded/oxidized and has lost its sheen. The rim is similarly faded, crazed and has numerous chips. The bottom of the rim is lightly dimpled. A scarce tray in any condition.
