Condition/Comments: VERY RARE tap knob, one of only 2 known to us. Features the crossed ALE (later used by Croft which was started by a former Rueter employee). Back text: This Sterling Ale Faucet Knob remains the property of Rueter and Company Inc. shall be displayed only as authorized by them and shall be returned on demand. No 4921. Bakelite knob with porcelain inserts and metal stem. Some chips in porcelain as photos show yet displays well. About 2 x 3.25 inches. All original.
