Condition/Comments: An exceptional tray both in terms of subject matter and rarity. From the collection of a direct descendant of Hayes. Features Chief Pocatello. Artwork is striking by virtue of its realistic, un-exaggerated depiction of the indigenous, Native American Chief Pocatello. Artist Charles H. Russell is believed to have designed this trademark for Franklin and Hayes (Idaho State Journal, July, 82). Promotes Carnation BUD Bottled Beer. This is the ONLY example of this tray we have handled. Manufactured by H.G. Brace & Co., Seattle and Denver. Some sctratches, soiling and wear as photos show yet colors are excellent, as is overall display. About 14 x 17 inches. All original.
