Condition/Comments: This is one of the MOST IMPORTANT CANS IN THE HOBBY! This can turned up several years ago and went directly to a private collector. This is the first time this can has hit the open market! Before this can turned up, it was only hoped to exist by virtue of a National Can Co advertisement (see photo of ad compliments of Marc Tracy). It was among the same find in which the only super clean Dingle Bay and Hull's Lager OI cans surfaced. Only this one example is known to exist. This can turned up after the USBC and after the USBCOI were published so is not documented in those books. The word FOX is much smaller. The word BEER in such large letters are consistent with its early date of about 1935-1936, the first year beer was widely distributed in cans. There are humidity spots yet the colors are excellent and the can is mostly clear making for a very nice display. Bottom opened. All original. We added a close-up photo of the text panel right of seam. Check out the fantastic claims of health benefits! See well lit photos for primary assessment of condition.
