Condition/Comments: 17-1/2”w x 12”h x 3”d. This is a very rare back bar piece from Dawson. While it is shaped in the tradition of a1930s or 40s era back bar sign or lit sign, this piece has the added attraction of being a clock. It is also somewhat unusual in that it is colored black. The base is a form of bakelite or hard black plastic. The clear glass face has the advertising copy and clock face etched and painted onto the reverse which is backed by a black painted metal sheet to which the clock works are attached. The entire unit is in overall excellent condition, though the clock does not work. Outstanding!
