Condition/Comments: This reverse painted curved glass corner sign is exceptional. The reverse painting is all original and in excellent condition. Typically early, lighted reverse painted glass signs display better when not lit as the back-lighting will make obvious any paint loss or defects. In this case, it displays better when lit, as originally intended, since the condition is original and near perfect. The subject matter is a lively factory scene of the the Buffalo Brewing Co, including horse drawn wagons. This is the earliest example of a spinner lighted sign we've seen. The inner workings include colored sheets with brass fan top and liner ring at bottom. Two bulbs heat to create motion. An original chimney at top and raised lid bottom allow air to flow up through the inside of the piece to allow air movement and prevent over-heating. Note that even the decorative foil inserts are 100% original and in excellent condition. Original wiring remains inside the side. If you collect the rarest, right as rain brewery advertising, then it is time to step up for this piece as such original master-pieces seldom come to market. About 15" x 27" x 8".
