It is large and brilliant enough to make the viewer take notice even on the most crowded of walls, and the graphics and overall impact are hard to beat. The classic color combo of red-gold-black and the craftsmanship of the entire piece are top-notch. It is all original, including the gilt frame and backing. This is truly a Holy Grail piece for the New York or Beverwyck collector. We are unaware of another in existence. There are a few tiny chips in the frame and some light scratching. The gold leaf on the glass has a few spots of crinkling but they have not lifted and there is no loss anywhere. The photos tell the story: this sign is simply fabulous!
