Condition/Comments: 15-1/2-inch x 19-1/2’. This rare New York piece features an attractive Victorian woman offering up a tray of fine Bartholomay brews. The image uses an oil painting motif; there is a canvas pattern present across the entire image that is not visible in the photo. Condition is excellent, with two small areas of wear: one to the right of the woman’s head, the other to the left of the vase. The colors remain vivid and the integrity of the tin is outstanding, with virtually no trace of dings, ripples or creases. Some wax residue is present in the corners and bevels of the frame.
