Manufacturer/Plant: American Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1960s
Canning Code: n/a
Contents/Type: 12 oz
Condition/Comments: Ultra rare "Snakeskin" can features a roughly textured surface that is reminiscent of alligator skin or faux leather. Apparently this textured surface broke the tooling, explaining the short run. Dumpers have been found so this label has been filled. The can is very clean, with only minor marks, but the reds and copper have faded on both sides as shown. This is the best example of this can we have seen. ACTUAL can featured in USBCII. Difficult to tell if this is a rolled can due to the rough texture also applied to the seam. If not rolled, the bottom has been replaced. Can is the proper height. Only a few of these out there! All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
