Reference: n/aBrewery: Anheuser-Busch Brewing Assn., St. Louis, MissouriManufacturer/Plant: UnmarkedDate of manufacture: Pre-ProhibitionCanning Code: n/a Contents/Type: N/ACondition/Comments: This 3-piece paper lot consist of a yellow delivery slip from A-B distributor Gus Haerle of Lexington, MO (6-5/8 inches wide x 4-1/2 tall), and 2 wonderfully illustrated souvenir cards from the 1890s. One honors A-Bs award winning achievements at the 1898 Vienna Industrial Exposition (3-1/2 inches wide x 6-1/8 tall). The other has a fabulous image of a beautiful American-flag-draped woman with her arm raised in a toast to a bust of Christopher Columbus that sits atop a dated pedestal (4-1/4 inches wide x 6-1/2 tall). The dates indicate the card was issued to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of the discovery of the New World. Condition on all is excellent, with edge wear visible on both full-color pieces. The Anniversary piece has creases along the bottom edge and top right corner as well. There are no tears. All original. For more info, questions, or to report errors in this lot contact Dan via email.
